Over 30 Years in the Dirt
South Florida Demolition Services has been tearing down structures across South Florida since 1992. We handle residential and commercial demolition for homeowners, developers and general contractors. Every job is permitted, insured and code-compliant.
Based in Fort Lauderdale, we're family-owned and operated by the O'Connor family. We clear the site so South Florida can keep building.
Jack O'Connor started South Florida Demolition Services in 1992 with a straightforward idea: do what you say you're going to do, and don't cut corners. South Florida's construction market moves fast, and Jack saw early on that clients needed a contractor who'd deal with the permitting headaches and environmental rules so they didn't have to.
Over thirty years, we've grown from a small local crew into a full-service demolition firm. We own our excavators, crushers and loaders. No rental companies in the chain. Today, Jack is joined by Brendan O'Connor, who runs field operations, and Rebecah O'Connor, our licensed General Contractor. They make sure every job site, from a house in Rio Vista to a warehouse in Doral, meets our standards for safety and speed.

Brendan runs field operations and the equipment fleet. He makes sure every site is OSHA compliant and that crews deliver a clean, properly graded lot ready for construction.
Rebecah O'Connor

Rebecah holds the GC license and runs compliance and permitting. She keeps every job code-correct from the first permit application to the final inspection.
